Iraq – Kurdistan
Iraq is most often associated with war, chaos and terrorism, and although to a large extent this is unfortunately true, there is also “another Iraq”. In the north of the country there is the autonomous region of Iraq – Kurdistan, where it’s safe. Travelling in Iraqi Kurdistan is a journey through mountains, canyons and rushing rivers, although it is also an interesting cultural and a culinary experience. Do not be afraid in advance!
